Mildred Rose Sherlock

   Mildred Rose Sherlock, a 2 year resident of Summerville, SC and former longtime resident of Middletown, NY, entered into rest on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in Summerville, SC. She was 93 years of age.

    The daughter of the late Michael and Antonina Stoltz, she was born on April 24, 1925 in New Hampton, NY.

   Mildred had been employed as office manager of the Meola Insurance Agency in Middletown. She was a longtime active member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Middletown.

    Survivors include; her daughter, Joyce Nielsen and her husband Andy of Summerville, SC; her grandson, Andrew Nielsen of Summerville, SC; her sister, Stella Karshner of Aberdeen, NC; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles C. Sherlock and her brothers Stanley, John and Walter Stoltz and her sister Helen Mazur.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 AM Tuesday, January 15th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 90 Euclid Avenue, Middletown, NY. Interment will follow in the family plot in Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NY.

    Memorial contributions may be made in Mildred’s name to the South Carolina Autism Society, 806 12th St., West Columbia, SC 29169.
