Lucy Ann Harding

   Lucy Ann Harding, a 30 year area resident, entered into rest on Friday, June 22, 2018 at her home in Middletown, NY. She was 90 years of age.

    The daughter of the late Giovanni and Lucia Benedetti, she was born on March 1, 1928 in Staten Island, NY.

   Lucy was a homemaker and had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Middletown.

    Survivors include: her son, Robert J. Harding and his wife Phyllis of Middletown; her granddaughters, Debra McElroy of Middletown and Jessica Ruiz and her husband John of Lusby, MD; her great grandchildren, Skylar and Gary Howard of Lusby, MD; and one great-great grandson Caleb Robert Stevenson of Lusby, MD; and several nieces and nephews. Lucy was predeceased by her husband of 70 years Robert F. Harding on June 5, 2018, and also predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters.

    Funeral Services will be private and interment will take place in the Hillside Cemetery, Middletown, NY.

    Memorial contributions in Lucy’s memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4550 Montgomery Ave., Suite 1100N, Bethesda, MD 20814.
