Joseph Michael Blessinger Jr.

- Joseph Michael Blessinger Jr., a longtime area resident, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Kindred Hospital in Rahway, NJ. He was 64 years of age.

     The son of the late Joseph Michael & Kathryn Blessinger Sr., he was born on July 20, 1959 in Brooklyn, NY.

     Joseph had been employed as a cable technician for Spectrum in Middletown. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years. Joseph also enjoyed listening to music.

     Survivors include: his brothers, Michael J. Blessinger and his wife Mercy of Navarre, FL, and Thomas R. Blessinger of Middletown; his close friend Susan Aviles of Middletown; his uncle James Brown of Brooklyn, NY; his favorite niece Allison Doolittle of Middletown; and other nieces, nephews & cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, and his sister Donna Doolittle.

    A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 PM Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY.
