Fred Reiss

    Fred was born in Germany and moved to New York when he was 3 years old. He was a cattle dealer and dairy farmer, proprietor of Reiss Farms in Goshen, NY.  After retirement, he and his wife Marilyn were snowbirds in Boynton Beach, FL until moving to Orangeburg, NY in 2019.  He was pre-deceased by his wife Marilyn and their daughter Sue Shapiro. He is survived by children Fern Reiss (Jonathan Harris), Michael Reiss (Cathy Lamstein-Reiss), son-in-law Avie Shapiro, grandchildren Benjamin, Daniel, Ariel, Shoshie, Yona, Atara, Nechama, Brandon and Joshua, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 14th at 11 AM at Temple Sinai, 75 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY.

   Arrangements have been entrusted to Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home.
