Robert R. Ferrier

Robert R. Ferrier of Middletown, NY and formerly of Yonkers, NY, entered into rest on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Braemar Living in the Town of Wallkill. He was 84 years of age.

    The son of the late Lawrence Arnold and Margaret Ruth Ferrier, he was born on June 20, 1933 in Yonkers, NY.

   Robert had been employed as controller at Entron in Garden City, NY. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 1954 in Yonkers and was also an avid square dancer and was a member of the Pelham Promenaders in Pelham, NY.

    Survivors include his brothers, Lawrence Ferrier of Middletown, Kenneth Ferrier of Port St. Lucie, FL, Bruce Ferrier and his wife Wendy of Wappingers Falls, NY, and Wayne Ferrier of Yonkers, NY; his sister, Joan Stoltz and her husband John of Middletown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Cremation will take place at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.

     Graveside Services with military honors will take place at 2 PM Monday, March 26th at the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY. Reverend Peter A. Rustico will officiate.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
