Hector L. Reyes

  Hector L. Reyes, a 3 year Middletown resident and formerly of Boston, MA, entered into rest on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. He was 69 years of age.

    The son of Aida Reyes and the late Marciano Reyes, he was born on December 24, 1947 in Humacao, Puerto Rico.

    Hector was employed as a diamond setter for the Diamond Exchange in Boston, MA. He was a wonderful brother and an avid Yankee fan, which was not easy when living in Boston. He was a kind man and would give you the shirt off of his back.

    Survivors include his mother, Aida Reyes of Middletown; his children, Hector L. Reyes Jr., Antoinette Gallatti, Carrissa Reyes and Camille Reyes; his brothers, Marcial Reyes of Queensbury, NY, Adalberto Reyes of Middletown, Victor Reyes of Chestnut Ridge, NY, Jose Reyes of Minnesota, Angel Reyes of Cobleskill, NY and Ruben Reyes of Myrtle Beach, NC; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Hector was predeceased by his father, Marciano Reyes and his brother Rigoberto Reyes.

    Family and friends may call from 11 AM to 12 Noon on Thursday, June 1st at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Middletown, NY where Services will begin at 12 PM. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Middletown.

    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Funeral Home, Middletown, NY.
