Frank L. Clark Sr.

    Frank L. Clark Sr., a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, NY. He was 90 years of age.

    The son of the late Frank M. and Lena Clark, he was born on April 24, 1927 in the Town of Greenville, NY.

    Frank retired as a truck driver for Rupp Southern Tier in Middletown. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Otisville-Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church, Middletown Elks Lodge No. 1097 and the Teamsters Union Local No. 445.

    Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Clark at home in Middletown; his children, Frank L. Clark Jr. and his wife Lorena of Grahamsville, NY, Virginia Reeder and her husband Paul of Stuart, FL and Denise Miller of Stuart, FL; his step-children, Wilma Amthor of Bloomingburg, Bettyann Warren of Naples, FL, and George Wanser and his wife Rita of South Amboy, NJ; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; his sister Grace Baker of Aboline, TX, brother Harold Clark and his wife Jeanette of North Charleston, SC and sister Helen Halstead of Middletown. He was predeceased by his brother John Myers Clark who was killed in Korea.

    Cremation took place at the Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh, NY.

     Interment of Frank’s cremains with military honors will take place at 11 AM Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY. Reverend Jeffrey Farley will officiate.

    Memorial contributions in Frank’s name may be made to the Otisville-Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 628, Otisville, NY 10963.
