Anne K Levinson

Anne K. Levinson, a 5 year resident of Teaneck, NJ and former resident of Middletown, NY, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Van Dyk Health Care at Ridgewood, NJ. She was 86 years of age.

The daughter of the late Abraham and Lillian Stern Kaufman, she was born on January 14, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY.  Anne was a longtime member of Temple Sinai in Middletown. She was a member of the Sisterhood of Temple Sinai and Hadassah. Anne was a volunteer at the former Horton Memorial Hospital and for Meals-on-Wheels in Middletown.

Survivors include: her husband, Dr. Fred S. Levinson at home in Teaneck, NJ; her daughters, Elise M. Glynn and her husband James of Redding, CT, Susan D. Levinson and David Schwartz of Fort Lee, NJ, and Karen L. Levinson and Ronald Basso also of Fort Lee, NJ; her grandson Cary A. Glynn; her brother Jack Kaufman and his wife Fran of Colorado; several nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her sister Marlene Schneider.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Thursday (today), May 25, 2017 in Temple Sinai, 75 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY. Rabbi Philip Weintraub will officiate. Interment will follow in the Temple Sinai Cemetery, Circleville, NY.
